The past several years, Apple has released a lot of groundbreaking devices. The iPhone is certainly a substantial shock to the mobile phone world, altering the way users think about smartphones. The new Apple Magic Mouse is equally groundbreaking, with tons of new features making a simple computer mouse very functional.

I received my Magic Mouse just now and I unpacked it straight away. Pairing the Magic Mouse with my MacBook is super easy; just turn the Magic Mouse on by flicking the switch on the bottom part and turn on the Bluetooth on MacBook to discover the wireless mouse. After a simple one-click pairing process, the Magic Mouse is ready for use.

What’s amazing about the Magic Mouse is its ability to capture gestures. The entire upper surface of the mouse is actually a touch-sensitive input device that allows you (and all-excited me) to do a lot of different things.

If you need to scroll down a web page, for example, simply make a scrolling motion on the surface of the Magic Mouse with one finger and that’s it. Zooming, rotating pictures, control clicking, and various other common tasks that makes Mac OSX very adorable can also be done on the surface of the Magic Mouse.

To make it even better, Magic Mouse uses a standard pair of AA batteries. You can use any alkaline battery or simply switch to rechargeable lithium AA batteries for prolonged use.

Let’s not forget that Magic White comes in the same glamorous, glossy white finish which makes it very sleek and cool. You can impress your friends (PC-using friends to be specific ;) ) by taking advantage of the gestures you can do on your Magic Mouse.

Definitely worth every penny, certainly one of the best accessories to buy if you are a Mac user.
